It IS Possible to Watch TV on a PC! Considering the economy and the state of jobs in the nation at this time, many people are reconsidering where they put their money at monthly bill-paying time. There are millions of homes that buy a cable/internet/telephone package who are, frankly, paying for more than they have to. By reducing your package to internet/telephone only, you can save money and watch almost every television show you like at the time you want. For those of us who are already too busy, catching the shows we want to see has become a real hassle. Strange work hours, kids who need tucking in and bedtime stories, you name it: evenings are eaten up by LIFE. Who among us has time anymore to watch a couple prime hours of television before hitting the sack? The number is reducing daily. By hooking into free television sites, you can watch many television shows, both current and those from the past, at any time you care to sit down and watch them. If there are any of you out there who are concerned that watching television only on your computer is NOT a family activity, consider the following. It is possible to hook your computer up to your television and watch the shows with as little effort as watching television shows through cable and satellite providers. It's true. Now, if your television is old and (dare I say it?) obsolete, it won't work this way. Don't let this caveat stop you from looking into it. There are tons of adaptors and there just might be one out there for you. Can I watch Tv programs on my PC? You ask, of course! In many respects, the offerings are equal to what's available through cable and satellite providers but, in many other respects it is superior to what those providers offer. For instance, you watch when you want to watch. If you missed an episode or two, don't worry! You can watch them first before moving, finally, to the current episode. And commercials? There's no comparison. The commercials are very short and, usually, limited to one commercial per break - with sometimes no more than two breaks (one before the show even starts) during the entire show. So think about it.
